			== Early Life ==
			Born in Qingpu, Jiangsu Province, Chen had a very miserable childhood, losing his father, his mother, and then his grandmother at the ages of two, four, and six, respectively. He, together with his older sister, Chen Xing, was brought up by his uncle and aunt Liao Wenguang and Mrs Liao. His uncle was a mild but downright dutiful tailor who spent all day hunching over threads and needles while his aunt helped out with family expenses by sewing up stuff for others. Since they were married for years but having no children of their own, they deeply cared Chen Yun as their own son, naming him as Liao Chenyun.<ref name=":0" />
