I have to source that CPUSA accounts made statements distancing from ACP but twitter search is broken so it's gonna be a slog. I'll try to get through with it today still.

if the elected member is Helali, it's a bit misleading to call him that because it can imply he's in congress.

The American Communist Party (ACP) is a self described patriotic socialist group operating within the United States and Canada that claims to have split from the CPUSA in 2024. Its plenary committee includes the patriotic socialist influencers Haz Al-Din, Carlos Garrido, Jackson Hinkle, Noah Khrachvik, and Eddie Liger Smith.[1]

Although the party has added the names of various CPUSA sections as signatories of its founding declaration,[1] many of these sections were not aware they had signed the document and made statements distancing themselves from the ACP. Previously in 2022, patriotic socialists set up fake CPUSA accounts on Twitter to hijack the names of CPUSA sections as part of their failed CPUSA 2036 strategy.[2] Based on this, it is plausible to say that the ACP only used the name of CPUSA to boost their launch but otherwise had close to no contact with it.
