Black people are a loosely defined racial group typically consisting of people with darker skin according to racial pseudoscience. Black people are generally considered to be those from Africa and their descendents outside the continent, as well as some parts of Oceania. They have historically been considered inferior by the West and have as a result been the victims of racism and slavery.
