Advice on your edits

Hello comrade, I want to give you some advice on the edits you have been making. When you submit an edit, it goes through our moderation queue, meaning we need to read through it and check for any issues. This includes checking for citations, looking at your sources and confirming the information is represented accurately, checking if the edit accords with our principles, and checking for various other issues. We require that each paragraph of a submission comes with a citation. If it doesn't have one, we are not usually able to check that paragraph, and generally need to remove it because it can't be checked.

It is highly recommended that you submit much shorter edits so that editors will be able to read through your submissions in a timely fashion, and also that you include a citation with each paragraph so that your work can be checked for accuracy.

Several of your submissions are still sitting in the moderation queue because they are too long and lack too many sources; there is no one with the time available to check through all of them at this time due to their length. Whoever checks your work will unfortunately most likely have to delete the many unsourced paragraphs. Making shorter edits will allow us to check them sooner. Including sources prevents us from having to delete your work. When you start new articles, you can just start a stub at first, then add on later after your stub passes moderation. You can just keep adding on after your edits are accepted, sticking to much shorter edits. This way your submissions can appear more quickly.

You're welcome to engage with us on Discord if you would like to talk about your edits some more or ask any questions. You are also welcome to talk with us here.

Thank you for your contributions, please let me know any questions you may have.

Thank you for the advice, comrade! That makes sense. I’ll start making my edits much shorter and make sure each paragraph has a citation so they’re easier to review. For new articles, I’ll start with a sourced stub first and expand them gradually after they’re approved. I’m also in the Discord and usually leave updates after I edit pages, so I’ll keep doing that and ask there if I need help. Thanks again, I’ll do my best ^•^
